I've spent a lot of time recently thinking about the state of the Music Industry. It seems to be falling apart and forging ahead at the same time. I love that today you can basically put together an entire album in your spare bedroom and upload it for the world to hear. What's harder is getting the world to care. I long for that communal spirit of musicians hanging out, jamming, swapping tunes, and so on. Not to get off on a revivalist rant, but I hope that spirit finds its place in this digital age.
